Larry
J. Kennedy
Larry J. Kennedy retired July 30, 2003 as the Oklahoma City Site
Manager and Director of Aircraft Support Programs for Military
Aerospace Support for the Boeing Company. He is responsible for
supporting a variety of aircraft systems including: VC-25 (Air Force
One), VC-137, T-43, E-4B (National Airborne Command Post), C-22,
C-18, E-3, E-6, B-1B, KC-135, B-52. His programs also include
maintaining F-14, FA-18, and SH-60 aircraft, which are used in the
Navy Top Gun program. These Support operations encompass engineering
services, contractor logistics support, field services, and aircraft
maintenance. The Oklahoma City Site also provides Training Services
and Large Aircraft Spares.
Larry was
born July 22, 1938 in McCurtain, OK and graduated McCurtain High
School in 1956. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1961 and
followed that with a Masters of Public Administration from the
University of Oklahoma in 1977.
Upon
graduation from college in 1961 Larry joined the Boeing Company in
Wichita, Kansas. In 1963 he accepted a civil service engineering
position with the Air Force at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics
Center (OC-ALC) Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. He spent the next thirty-two
years with OC-ALC in a variety of engineering and management
positions, including Chief Engineer for the B-52, ALCM, E-3 and E-4B
and Program Manager for the B-1B and B-2 weapon systems. His Air
Force career culminated in his assignment as Deputy Director of the
Aircraft Directorate where he was responsible for all OC-ALC
aircraft programs.
Larry joined
Boeing again in 1995 and prior to becoming Director, Aircraft
Support he was the Program Manager for all Engineering and Technical
Services programs conducted by the Aircraft Support organization.
David T. Howe
David T. “Dave” Howe is retired from the Lockheed Martin
Company. Prior to his retirement in March of 2003, he was the Senior
Manager for Air Force Requirements in the Oklahoma City area and
reported to Lockheed Martin Aircraft and Logistics Centers located
in Greenville, SC. He was responsible for ensuring face to face
problem resolution and coordination with the Oklahoma City Air
Logistic Center in all aspects of potential and existing Lockheed
Martin contracts.
Prior to his appointment with Lockheed Martin,
he was the Central Oklahoma representative for BDM Engineering
Company and was involved in aging aircraft sustainment and mission
upgrade modifications.
Before his retirement as a Colonel from the Air
Force in 1991, Dave was involved in many aspects of military
aviation including flight operations, flight training, aircraft
maintenance, and quality control. In his final Air Force assignment,
he was the System Program Director for the B-52 weapon system and as
such was directly responsible for all maintenance and modification
programs as well as day to day logistics support for the B-52 fleet.
In total he has more than 40 years of aviation experience including
4200 flight hours and 182 combat missions during the Viet Nam War.
He is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado where he
received a BA in Business Management, and holds a Masters in Public
Administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco,
California. He has completed an additional 30 hours of post masters
work
